This year's Land of Lincoln Trophy means more than ever for Northwestern. Two weeks ago, about to sneak into the Top 25, the Wildcats were upset by a rushing Army. They now head to Champaign to face #24 Illinois, 4-0 for the first time since the '50s. The Fighting Illini embarrassed us at Wrigley last year, our first game after Dan Persa's season-ending injury. But we love being the underdogs. We want respect and revenge this Saturday. We have HurriKain Colter, Jeremy Ebert, and... finally... #7 himself. This is rivalry has reached the next level.
The game watch may be in Charlottesville, but it's the wrong time to wear orange. Wear your purple with pride.
Go U!
